about
Jordan has been writing this symphony since he was 18 years old and recording it sporadically over a few years, teaching himself instruments he needed for the piece but couldn't play, and finding musicians for the parts he really couldn't play. He sees the piece as a film score to (yet again) an unmade film and believes the symphony to be understood in four parts.
Part I - Cemeteries
Part II - Libraries
Part III - Luminaries
Part IV - Reveries
lyrics
Lyrics:
We build new libraries on old cemeteries
And wonder why our words are haunted.
Each letter is a tombstone.
Each paragraph is a graveyard.
The past is dead but the ghosts live on in each and every book we borrow.
There are souls in our sentences and spirits in every story we steal.
We are the sons and daughters of poets of authors.
We live on.
